Prevention is the most important aspect of a school, camp, or sports physical. The examination allows a trained medical professional to screen for illnesses or minor ailments that could lead to serious medical problem during intense physical activity.
For many young athletes, their annual physical provides them with reassurance for the upcoming season. Physicals don’t prevent injuries that happen during competition, but they can tell you that you’re medically ready to compete.
