Recently opened Roosevelt (Ortega) center marks continued regional investment, with additional locations planned in Jacksonville Beach and the Murabella/World Golf Village area.
JACKSONVILLE, Fl — August 2026 — CareSpot Urgent Care and Baptist Health are continuing to strengthen healthcare access across Northeast Florida through a strategic expansion that will bring three new urgent care locations to the Jacksonville region within a relatively short period.
The latest milestone came with the opening of CareSpot Roosevelt (Ortega) on July 23. Located at 4461 Beverly Avenue, Unit 5, the new center expands convenient access to urgent care for residents and employers on Jacksonville’s Westside while representing CareSpot’s 46th Florida location.
The Roosevelt opening is part of a broader growth strategy focused on meeting the healthcare needs of one of Florida’s fastest-growing regions. With Northeast Florida continuing to experience significant residential and commercial growth, CareSpot and Baptist Health are investing in additional access points that make it easier for patients to receive the right care closer to where they live, work and travel.
“Northeast Florida is one of the fastest-growing regions in our state, and we’re committed to growing alongside it,” said Shaun Ginter, CEO of CareSpot Urgent Care. “Our partnership with Baptist Health allows us to thoughtfully expand access to high-quality healthcare where people need it most. With 20 CareSpot centers serving Northeast Florida and 48 locations statewide following our planned expansions, we’re continuing to build one of the region’s most accessible urgent care networks while strengthening connections between urgent, primary and specialty care.”
The next phase of that expansion will come later this year with the opening of a new CareSpot Urgent Care center at 950 Marsh Landing Parkway, Unit 109, Jacksonville Beach.
The Marsh Landing location will represent an important milestone for the CareSpot-Baptist Health partnership as the organizations come together within a shared medical destination. Patients will have convenient access to CareSpot Urgent Care alongside Baptist Primary Care and Baptist Pediatrics in the same building, creating a more coordinated healthcare experience and improving continuity of care.
“Our partnership with CareSpot has strengthened access to trusted urgent care services in our area,” said Eric Fletcher, MBA, FACHE, EVP and Chief Strategy Officer at Baptist Health. “Access to convenient, high-quality, affordable urgent care services is a key part of caring for our community and we look forward to continuing to expand to meet the needs of our growing region.”
CareSpot and Baptist Health also plan to continue their Northeast Florida expansion with another urgent care center serving the Murabella/World Golf Village area, currently targeted to open in early 2027. Upon completion of these planned expansions, CareSpot will operate 48 urgent care centers across Florida, 20 of which will serve patients throughout Northeast Florida— further reinforcing the region as one of the company’s most significant growth markets.
Together, these three projects demonstrate the organizations’ shared commitment to expanding healthcare access through thoughtful, community-focused growth while strengthening the connection between urgent care, primary care and specialty care across Northeast Florida.
The long-standing partnership between CareSpot and Baptist Health continues to create convenient entry points into the healthcare system, helping patients receive timely treatment for illnesses and injuries while connecting them to ongoing care when appropriate. As both organizations continue investing in Northeast Florida, the focus remains on improving access, enhancing patient experience and supporting healthier communities.
