It’s close to our house. The only recommendation I have is for the doctor to ask for consent when he is doing the physical exams. He asked my son to lower his pants, which my son did. My son left his underwear on. The doctor abruptly lowered my son’s underwear without a warning or without asking for consent. The same thing happened with my daughter. The doctor lifted her shirt. Even though my daughter was there for a physical exam, he should have allowed my daughter to lift her own t-shirt or given an advance warning that now he needed to check her stomach area and would be lifting her shirt—or even better—ask for permission first. This was quite shocking for both my son and daughter, as they are used to their pediatrician ALWAYS advising of the next step and asking for consent before doing anything that would be uncomfortable to anyone who has set firm boundaries with their bodies and with physical touch.
