Location is fantastic for me. Getting an appointment seems to be fairly easy: either walk-in, call for an appointment or on-line. And the Drs have a good manner and have always seemed to “cured” whatever has been bothering me.

I needed to make an appointment to come in to the urgent care facility on Thursday Jan 2. The receptionist was responsive over the phone when I explained I could not sit, stand or walk due to a severe sciatica flare up in my left leg. When I came into the facility, she took me into a waiting room so I could lie down. The attending nurse was very solicitous and helped me make me comfortable while she took my vitals. The PA showed up in a few minutes and listened carefully to my symptoms and told me she could give me a pain killer injection to help alleviate the pain. She did not make any other recommendations as to how to proceed beyond contacting my PCP or go to ER if the problem and pain persisted or increased. I explained to her that my PCP was on vacation and I would not hear from her until Monday Jan 6th. It seemed to me that she could not do more than provide temporary relief in the form of the injection. Not sure if this is how most urgent care facilities are supposed to operate, but I left feeling that there could have been more support or guidance. I would rate the experience as very good as I was given an appointment and seen very quickly and an attempt was made to help with the pain I was experiencing.
