My adult daughter suffers from a horrendous needle phobia. It was critical that she receive a TB test and a flu shot before she could begin an internship. After multiple failed attempts and lots of fear, she entered the Collierville Med Post prepared to once again leave. Instead, she met Emily P. at the desk, and Emily was the angel she needed. Emily took the time to walk through the procedure for TB testing and was so incredibly gentle and patient with my daughter. In fact, my daughter was so comfortable with Emily that she faced her fear and told Emily she could give her a flu vaccine after the TB test administration. We were so dismayed to find that the Collierville location was out of the vaccine, but wonderful Emily would not be deterred. She contacted another Med Post location and had a vaccine sent over to the Collierville location for my daughter. Emily let us know when she was working, and once again, she patiently worked with my daughter until she was able to conquer her fear and get the necessary shot. It isn’t every day that medical professionals go the extra mile for something like someone suffering from a shot phobia. Emily’s kindness and compassion are unsurpassed. My daughter will be able to move forward with her internship now because Emily took the time and cared enough to help her reach that goal. We are so grateful to Med Post and especially grateful to sweet Emily who made it all successful.
