I came in with my 4 year old on Sunday morning. I really like that MedPost is willing to see children unlike many urgent care facilities. It gives parents another option besides the ER during off hours. Immediately upon arrival, I was very impressed with the facility and iPad registration. Everything is very open, spacious and modern. Quickly after checking in, my son vomited on me. I was so grateful that the PA present, Sophia, immediately allowed us to come back so she could take a look at him. After listening to his breathing, etc. she recommended that we go to the ER since he was showing signs of Stridor cough. I had already considered taking him there but didn’t want to overreact. Having Sophia’s recommendation let me know that I was not overreacting. She asked which ER we would be going to and called them to let them know we were on our way. Since she was unable to treat us, she did not charge us the copay. Because of this personal, professional and compassionate care that I received from her during a crisis moment, I will absolutely be planning on returning to this MedPost location as well as recommending it to friends and family.
