I was hurting – very dehydrated and feeling very bad. I thought I had a UTI and my primary care doctor was gone for the weekend and the other doctors in his practice had no appointment openings. Our primary care doctor’s receptionist referred me to Baptist MedPost at Bitters and Huebner. Upon arrival, I was immediately attended to with initial screening, vitals and lab work. I was then seen by a nurse practitioner who was very professional and recommended further treatment at the Baptist Emergency Hospital on Military and Loop 1604. She called the hospital and informed them I was on my way and that they had found an elevated white blood cell count in my urine test and believed I had a UTI. I could not have been more pleased with the care and treatment I received at the Baptist MedPost.
