Derek was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. It was very pleasing to see a doctor who takes pride in his work. He made sure I understood everything happening and even waited for me to think up some answers unlike other doctors that just want you in and out so they can get their paycheck.

Scheduling an appointment online is very easy. I visited the Long Beach location on Carson St. for the first time on Friday 6/26/19. The receptionist was very friendly. My appointment time was scheduled at 7:00 p.m. I only waited around 10 min. before being called in. The nurse was very personable and professional. Dr. Henry Shumaker was such a sweet doctor. He treated me for a bladder infection and prescribed an antibiotic and a med for pain as well. I was able to be seen by a doctor, pick up my prescriptions and make it back home all in an hour. Amazing!
