Prompt and efficient and professional

The scheduling and check-in process were simple and quick. I was called back to my exam room within 2 minutes of my scheduled appointment and the doctor showed up only a minute or two after the nurse/health aide finished taking my vitals. I thought it was fabulous that the doctor actually interacted with me instead of standing there with a laptop or pad device. he took time to actually try to figure out what I’m suffering from and explain to me what his diagnosis is and what it means for me. When he prescribed medications for me, he took time to explain what each is and what it is used to treat in my case, exactly how to use each, and side effects to look out for. When I asked about what drug interactions I might expect from my maintenance drugs, he was very thorough explaining what may occur. The main things I was very pleased with were: 1. Ease and speed of scheduling and check-in. 2. Personal interaction with the nurse/health aide and doctor. and 3. Thorough examination, diagnosis, and treatment. I never felt like I was being rushed. Best doctor visit in my recent memory. Bravo-Zulu to everyone concerned!

Dr. Heather Shumway was great! She was personable, listened carefully to me, and evaluated my problem/s. She gave me Rx’s that helped my problems. The assistant, Blanca, was also very nice and helpful. The facility was clean. There were some glitches with the iPad when inserting my information when I first got there, but nothing big… just delayed my checking in and when you’re not feeling well that doesn’t help. Also, the front desk person was fine but could have been a bit more personable. When you’re not feeling well, it helps to have a little extra attention to make sure you’re okay. However, overall, I was very impressed with the facility. Thank you.

I loved that the PA listened to me! I know I didn’t show a lot of signs when I went there, but was going on vacation and didn’t want to go out of town and get sicker..I could feel it in my chest and throat and know how my body is! Its down hill fast! The next day I was so sick! I was thrilled she gave me antibiotics and my cough immediately began improving!
