I liked everything. Everyone from the receptionist to the Male nurse to the doctor. They were so nice. If I ever have to need to go to an urgent care again this is where I will be going.

I was told to wear a mask, and use hand sanitizer at the door … good, no problem. But when I was in the room, the tech asked me to remove the mask and place the thermometer under my tongue. Ungloved, no hand washing in front of me, placed a probe cover on the thermometer, placed thermometer under my tongue. Then placed 02 sensor on my finger. Then placed both items back on the little cart thing. It made me wonder if there is adequate understanding of how this virus spreads. He requested me to remove the mask, then place something which could be contaminated very close to my mucus membranes. When I mentioned it, he seemed to get a bit of an attitude. I would have felt more comfortable if he had washed his hands and the equipment in front of me. The PA who examined me didn’t wash hands in front of me either. I have studied Microbiology and I know that the best way to prevent cross contamination is hand washing. I wish I had refused the temp taking now. It’s a bit pointless taking only some measures.

The professionalism of the staff and I waited less than 20 min. before seen the NP who I found to be friendly and shared a genuine concern for my medical issue..
