Very confusing as to the quarantine time necessary after the test: conflicting information. Very long wait with only a few people in the building. Front desk woman seemed resentful after my husband had some concerns. I admire workers who are dealing with the situation but the manager showed no sympathy for my husband whose mother had just died. She wanted the sympathy. Very disappointing experience.

When I went there, there was only one person in the waiting room. Barbara at the front desk told me due to covid19 my mom had to wait outside due to protocol. I totally understood and asked my mother to wait outside while I’m seen. It took a total of one hour. However, when a white couple came in right after me, Barbara allowed the man to wait in the waiting room while his wife was being seen. My mom had to wait outside in a Florida weather of over 100 degrees. I believe if a protocol is in place due to covid19 it should apply to all patients and not selected ones. I found this very upsetting, offensive and targeted towards us. When I brought it up to the lady who took me back, her answer was that “sometimes” they will allow someone to wait inside if the waiting room is empty. However, when I was in the same situation I was not treated equally and the “sometimes” did not apply to my mother. She did said that if it bothered me that bad she could call my mom to come inside. By that time an hour had past and I was done with the procedure. I think this was unacceptable, and should be brought up to her attention to treat all patients fairly. Thank you.

I like that you are affiliated with Orlando Health. The waiting area was exceptionally neat and clean. Good disinfectant procedures for patients. Everything was explained very thoroughly. The nursing staff were thorough in getting medical history & also explained very clearly how the testing would take place. The male nurse was exceptional – great people skills. I have recommended for others to be tested at your facility. Thank you! One suggestion is to have an outside banner stating to get your Covid -19 tests here or a lighted OPEN sign. The building is dark & did not look like it was open when we drove up at 8:30am.
