my problem was apparently properly diagnosed and although I had tough day the day after I am 90percent better today A proper diagnosis and treatment is what I had hoped for and that is exactly what I received

I went after a fall. The Dr. checked all my wounds and x ray of my ribs. I was given a tetanus shot A was give RX to prevent any infection.

Alora, the PA who treated my splinter injury with cellulitis was quite skillful at removing the vine splinter with no numbing and caused no discomfort to nerve endings during the procedure. I was surprised that making an appointment did not get me in sooner. To be fair, I was 8 minutes late, (10:15 am appt. made online, arrived at 10:23 am) but I was not called back for over an hour. The receptionist did not observe or seemed aware that I had an appointment upon check-in. For the aftercare section of the patient discharge paperwork, a bit more detail on the soaking protocol would be welcomed, i.e.,, duration, how many days, bandage or leave wound open, anti-bacterial ointment or none?
