Very quick despite how busy it was and I was seen by a PA, overall I was satisfied!

No prolonged wait, nurse took her time to explain what she was doing and performed the test quickly and professionally. The PA was also professional and quite competent. The only question in my mind had to do with scheduling. I went on line T 1130am and got an appointment at 1230pm. That was wonderful. However, while I was in the waiting room, a couple of people came in to inquire about getting tested. They were told that the first available appointment was on Jul 9 and there was a call list with 26names. When I left, there was nobody in the waiting room. I didn’t understand why the walk ins were not accommodated.

Your staff rocks! It was super busy with all the Covid testing. And a guy came in with a bloody hand. As if everything else wasn’t bad enough. Your staff was quick, calm, competent, and friendly.

I especially liked the Doctor I saw and how thorough she was. Her assisting nurse was extremely efficient and helpful too. One other thing that should be mentioned is, that my friend, that had to wait for me in the waiting area, was a bit shocked that the secretary on the desk was not wearing her mask. Even more concerning, was that she was not sanitising surfaces touched by a young man who came in (and announced that he had tested positive to the Corona virus)! She did tell him to leave and that he should be home.

I was given excellent care during my appointment. Extra tests were done when my symptoms could possibly indicate a problem other than COVID. I had everything explained to me and felt like I was in caring and capable hands, I have already recommended the Atascadero MedPost to my family.
